ORAL SURGERY

Oral surgeries are performed to treat a wide spectrum of diseases, injuries and defects in the head, neck, face, jaws and the hard and soft tissues of the Oral and Maxillofacial region.There are three types of oral surgeries in India:

  • Dent alveolar surgery : This surgery is performed to remove damaged tooth, tooth extractions, bone grafting or preposthetic surgery to provide more effective anatomy for the placement of dentures, implants, etc.
  • Diagnosis and treatment : This includes benign and malignant pathology, cysts, tumours etc. Treatment for jaw, cheek bone fractures also fall into this category.
  • Cosmetic Surgery : This includes treatments like facelift, cheek augmentation, lip enhancement etc.
